Detoxifying Face Mask
Get F*ing dirty
F* yeah! This mask is literally made from dirt. With enriched peat soil from the Neydharting Moor, in Austria, containing rare earth trace minerals, skin-mimicking botanicals and hundreds of unique elements as raw as the earth itself 30,000+ years ago.
So rare and raw, that beastly animals used to congregate at the moor for its healing properties. Eventually, humans caught on and started using this dirty mask to replenish their own skin.
What It Does:
• Promotes the natural skin renewal process
• Sloughs top-layer, dead skin cells from the top layer of skin
• Accelerates skin cell turnover
• Reveals fresher, younger-looking skin
Suitable for all skin types
How to Use
Apply mask with fingers or applicator to dry skin that has been cleansed and toned.
For dry skin: Leave mask on for 5 minutes
For normal or oily skin: Leave mask on for up to 10 minutes
Promptly remove with warm washcloth. Follow with Glow in the Dirt (serum), Baggage Check (eye cream) and Z Cream (night time moisturizer) for best results. Use once a week for normal to oily skin, and twice per month for dry skin.
Why It Works
The extended contact between your skin and all of the curative benefits of natural peat in this mask accelerate skin cell turnover. The allantoin and lactic acid increase desquamation: the shedding of the top layer of dead skin cells and reveals fresher, younger-looking skin. You may feel some heat when using this product, a sign that desquamation has been activated. The levulinic acid provides antimicrobial properties and ensures skin balance.

Allantoin - Naturally occurring in the European herb comfrey and in chamomile, it helps with the natural process of skin renewal. It helps remove dead skin cells from the top layer of skin, known as desquamation of the stratum corneum. It can also moderate inflammation and promote healing, leading to anti-aging effects.
Lactic Acid - A common, naturally occurring acid with a long history of renewing skin by sloughing away dead skin cells. Cleopatra was known to bathe in sour milk for the youth-promoting benefits from lactic acid.
Levulinic acid1 - A natural ingredient derived from cellulose, Levulinic acid (LA) is a γ-keto acid. It also has antimicrobial properties effective against some bacteria and molds.
Glycerin - Great skin component mimic. It helps restore moisture to the stratum corneum (the top layer of the skin). Glycerin acts as a humectant, holding onto water.
