Where do you ship?
We currently ship to all 50 states. Stay tuned for future expansion!
Do you ship to PO/APO/FPO addresses?
Yes, we ship to PO/APO/FPO using USPS carrier.
What shipping options do you offer and what do they cost?
Shipping charges will be calculated upon check out.
PS: Standard shipping is free with purchases of 2 items or more. Please allow 24 -48 hours for us to receive and process your order. Please note, any shipments received Saturday, Sunday or during a holiday will be processed on the next business day.
When will my order ship?
Ordering takes a few seconds. Processing takes 24-48 hours (and orders placed after 1pm ET are processed the next business day). Then one of our carriers takes it from there. You’ll get a shipment notification email with a tracking number as soon as your package ships. It’s on the way!
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
We provide tracking for all orders. You will receive your tracking information via email once your order is fulfilled and shipped from our warehouse.
Once I place my order, can I change the delivery address?
If your order is shipping to an incorrect address, please email hello@dirtyessentials.com
Where's my package?
We provide tracking for all orders. It may take 1-2 days for your delivery information to be updated on your tracking number. Please contact hello@dirtyessentials.com if you need help locating your package.
What if my package arrives damaged?

What is your return policy?
All returns must be processed within 15 days of receiving the order. Please reach out to hello@dirtyessentials.com if you are unhappy with your product. Make sure to have your order number when contacting our team. Unopened products are eligible for refund.
Can I exchange a product?

Can I return a gift?
If you were gifted Dirty Essentials but it isn't what you had in mind, you can return your items for store credit. Please reach out to hello@dirtyessentials.com with the gifter's first and last name, email address, and the products you’d like to return or exchange (the gifter won’t be notified of any changes). Once locating the original order, we'll handle it!
How do I start a return?
We're sorry there is an issue with your Dirty Essentails®. Please reach out to hello@dirtyessentials.com with your order number and the products you'd like to exchange or return, and we'll take care of the rest.
Do I have to pay return shipping costs?
No, Dirty Essentials® will cover any return shipping costs.
The product I want is out of stock, will it be available again?
Subscribe to our newsletter so you can be notified when products are back in stock.
Can I purchase Dirty Essentials® on Amazon?
Not at this time. Dirty Essentials® products can only be purchased on www.mydirtyessentials.com
Do you have discounts or promo codes that I can use for my order?
We recommend that you subscribe to our newsletter, to receive SMS text messages or join our influcerner program to ensure you get the most up-to-date information about promotions and discounts.
Can I use more than one promo code at a time?
No, we only accept 1 discount code per transaction.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We currently accept Debit/Credit Card payments and/or Paypal payments.
How can I review my order history?

How do I create an account?
Select the icon in the upper right hand corner of the page. Select Create an Account, and enter the requested information. That's it! Very easy!
I’m having trouble logging into my account, how do I recover my password?
From your account log-in page, select "Forgot Password," and enter in the email address you used to set up the account. A link to reset your password will be sent to this email.
How do I subscribe to or cancel my Dirty Essentials® email subscription?
You can update your email preferences or unsubscibe from any email using the personalized link in the email footer.
What is Afterpay?
Installments by Afterpay is a service that allows you to make purchases now and pay for them in four payments made every 2 weeks without any interest.
Are there extra fees when I use Afterpay?

If I used Afterpay, can I still return an item?
If you have changed your mind, you can return your Afterpay purchase by mail for a refund. Email hello@dirtyessentials.com and we can help! Please check that your return or exchange meets our Return policy here. Afterpay will be notified of your return and will process the appropriate refunds. Please do not return your purchase to Afterpay.

Do your products have expiration dates?
For optimal freshness, we recommend using the product within 12 months of opening.

Does Dirty Essentials® use parabens?
We are proud to be paraben free.
Where are Dirty Essentials® products made?
Dirty Essentials® products are manufactured in Austria near the source of our truly unique peat and peat water in a region referred to as Neydharting Moor.
Are Dirty Essentials® cruelty-free?
We’re committed to being cruelty free: this means we do not test on animals at any stage of product development. We are proud to share that our products are certified cruelty-free by Leaping Bunny, the only internationally recognized certification organization for cruelty-free companies. Being Leaping Bunny certified also means we’ll have regular independent audits to ensure we’re compliant.
Is Potassium Sorbate safe?
Yes. Potassium sorbate is often used in food to maintain the safety of what we eat and drink. Fun fact: It's also commonly used in wine.
Why do you use a preservative?
It's important to stop the growth of mold, yeast and bacteria in any product you place on your body. Dirty Essentials® uses minimal levels of Potassium Sorbate to make our products as safe as possible.
Are your products all-natural/organic?
There's no denying the fact that a lot of "nature" goes into Dirty Essentials® products, especially the natural peat and peat water exclusive to the Neydharting Moor in Austria. We believe Mother Nature knows what's best yet we also subscribe to science and research findings to produce the most effective products we can.
Why are there some synthetic ingredients in your products?
The natural ingredients in our products, namely our peat and peat water, are literally impossible to recreate in a lab. But we also value modern science to enhance our skincare line in partnership with our European manufacturer.
Are your products safe to use during pregnancy?
We have no scientific reason to believe there should be any concern. It is recommended that you consult with your physician.
Is Dirty Essentials® suitable for all skin types?
Yes, our product line has something for most skin types! Visit the product pages to read more about skin types and ingredients.
Where does the peat water come from?
Our peat and peat water is unique to a region in Austria called the Neydharting Moor. You can lean more here
Do all of your products contain peat water?
Yes, all Dirty Essentials® products contain peat water. The dirtiest peat is found in our F* Face detoxifying mask.
The Peat Down - bar
Is The Peat Down balancing bar similar to a soap?
No. Unlike traditional soap bars, The Peat Down does not contain soap. Traditional soap bars are harsher to the skin and can disrupt the skin pH and break down the skin's natural barrier. The Peat Down bar is a "syn-det" (or a synthetic detergent) bar, which is a more modern approach and a gentler way to cleanse the skin.
Can I use The Peat Down bar everyday?
Yes. Mild daily cleansing is a central element to a healthy skin care regimen as it removes unwanted pollution and daily grime from your pores.
Is the Peat Down Bar good for sensitive skin?
Yes, it is great for sensitive skin. The Peat Down's cleansing system is gentle to the skin and does not disrupt your skin's natural lipids.
Why does the Peat Down Bar contain sulfates?
It does contain sodium coco sulfate, which is a surfactant made from coconut oil. The Peat Down bar's cleansing system is gentle to the skin and does not disrupt the skin's natural lipids.
Does the Peat Down Bar have a high pH like other soap bars?
No. Unlike traditional soap bars, the Peat Down does not contain soap. The Peat Down is a "syn-det" (or a synthetic detergent) bar, which is a more modern approach and a gentler way to cleanse the skin.
The Peat Spot
Is the Peat Spot toner good for sensitive skin?
It depends and might be worth a spot test (pun intended). You can gradually increase the amount used over time.
Is alcohol bad for your skin?
The alcohol found in The Peat Spot is blended with other ingredients to provide the perfect balance, avoiding any harsh effects on your skin.
Woke Up
Does Woke Up block the sun?
No, it is not a sunscreen. So you still get the Vitamin D from the sun, but Woke Up helps restore the damage that UV rays can cause.
Z Cream
What is Farnesol?
Farnesol is sometimes used as a fragrance, but also has anti-aging benefits.
Is Paraffinum liquidum good for my skin?
It is great for protecting your skin barrier. This ingredient has a fantastic safety record, but those with oily skin may way to spot test before use.
R.B.F
It there really snake venom in this product?
The ingredient, Dipeptide Diaminobutyroyl Benzylamide Diacetate, is not actually extracted from snakes, but the molecule is inspired by snake venom. It acts in a similar way as Botox. It relaxes the muscles and reduces the appearance of wrinkles.
Will the Retinyl Palmitate iritate my face?
It shouldn't and a little inflammation is good for anti-aging action. Inflammation draws blood and other factors to promote healing and cell growth.
Should I stop using the RBF if it irritates my face?
We recommend stopping the use of any product that irritates your skin or causes adverse reactions.
Baggage Check
Will this irritate the skin under my eyes?
The skin under the eyes is the thinnest skin on the body. If you encounter any adverse reaction, please discontinue use.
Can this really help?
Yes. Baggage Check helps to get the blood flowing which can lead to noticeable improvement.
F*Face
When should I use it?
We recommend applying F*Face in the evening, limiting to once a week when you first begin usage. It is not recommended to use more than twice a week.
What should I do before?
Cleanse your skin with the Peat Down before using F*Face for optimal results.
Is it common to feel tingling in my skin once the mask is applied?
Yes. The Lactic Acid in F* Face may cause a tingling sensation if your skin is not accustomed to this ingredient. We recommend starting with 5 minutes , once a week. The mask should be washed off after a maximum of 10 minutes.
